Who we are
This website is operated by ROTES Smart Solutions Inc., 501 Dundonald St, Suite 3G, Fredericton, NB E3B 9S4, Canada. The people responsible for privacy are our founders, Oksana Tesla and Roman Tesla. Contact: [email protected].
We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect through the contact form
- Your name, your email address and, if you choose, a phone number.
- If you choose, the name of your company or organization and your city.
- Your description of what you would like to simplify, the topic, timeline and preferred way to talk. Please do not send passwords or other people’s personal data through the form.
- Technical details needed to deliver and protect the form: the time of your request, your consent, the page you started from, campaign tags in the link (if any) and your IP address for spam and abuse prevention.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your request: to contact you, discuss what you need and prepare a written plan and quote. If you give an email address, we send you one confirmation email with your request reference. We do not sell your information, we do not add you to mailing lists, and we never name you or your organization as a client on this website without your written permission.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
- Your request is received by our own server in Canada (Montreal) and held there in a protected queue only until it has been delivered to us, and for no longer than 7 days.
- It is delivered to our own business mailbox. Our mail service runs on servers we operate in Canada; email in transit passes through a relay server we operate in Germany.
- Requests that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, project records are kept as long as the law requires (for example, for tax purposes).
Service providers
- Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and provides the Turnstile spam check on the form. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information, and may do so outside Canada.
- We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social-media trackers.
Website statistics
We measure visits with a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) running on our own server in Canada. It counts page views and clicks on buttons such as “email” or “get a plan & quote”. It does not use cookies, does not store your full IP address and never receives anything you type into the form.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for tracking. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when it checks for automated traffic.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. You can withdraw your consent at any time; we will then stop using your information, except where we must keep it by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The website itself stores no personal information. Form data travels encrypted (HTTPS), is checked for spam, kept outside the public website and accessible only to us. If a breach ever creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as required by law.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its version date. The version you agreed to is recorded with your request.
